NOW HEAR THIS! After much discussion and several good suggested
sites, the location of the 2010 reunion is - Charleston, SC! Our host is Tom Yingling MT (64-71 Gold). Let's plan on all
being there for what I bet will be another memorable Calhoun reunion. More to come, standby.
Our condolences for a shipmate recently reporting for Eternal
Patrol.
Keith A. Wright Sr. MM 76-78 departed 15 July, 2008. He will
be greatly missed by family and friends.
Peter Swiderski submitted this great link to video of our former adversary, the Soviet Union. Great
shots of those who sailed the other side! Check it out!

We received this input from Jimmie Lovins who got the opportunity to visit the JCC one day:
"I
got to go aboard in 1964 when we were operating with her (JCC). I was on the USS Myles C Fox (DD-829), while in Florida.
Some or our crew got to go out for the day on the Calhoun. It was great - I'll never forget it! BMSN Jimmie
